Mr. Morelli Piero was taking part to 1959 Italian championship with the "Passero" and Mario was supporting him.

The airplane you can see on the background is a Piaggio P 148 used by Italian Aeronautica Militare for gliders towing.

That year, Mr. Adriano Mantelli was there for gliders  towing and was taking part to the championship with his red Canguro (today visible at Volandia museum - Malpensa airport Italy).
